Solcor is a manufacturing and distribution company based in Blenheim, New Zealand. We deal with major hardware, marine and canvas/tarpaulin companies and those that distribute into these markets. We also deal with international vineyards and irrigation companies.

A company was setup in Sydney, Australia in 2004 to take advantage of this rapidly expanding market and export regularly to Europe, the America's and Asia. Both companies are privately held and family owned.

Solcor is the generic name for the new generation of solid core EPDM rubber shock/bungee cord and accessories. Together the polyester cover and rubber core are impervious to UV, salt water/air, petroleum products and most caustic chemicals.

The Solcor Adjustable Shock/Bungee Cord can be adjusted to any length between 10-90cm (100-900mm). Manufactured from 6/nylon with a glass reinforced nylon additive for UV protection and additional strength.

The solcor multistop lateral end stop valve utilises an entirely different principal with a slide valve arrangement. It is complete with restraining and suspension facilities. Suitable for 13mm,15.2mm,17.6mm and 20mm (with crayclip) lateral, its double ribbed design eliminates the need for clips in most applications. Its principal benefit is its versatility, simplicity, multi-functionality and labour saving. It is best used in combination with the specially formulated UV and spray resistant solcor solid core rubber cord to ensure the drip line maintains its correct position.

The Solcor Bird Net Clip Gun (easily clips bird netting together to protect vineyards etc): - gun weighs 365 grams with the 500 clip magazine weighing only 130 grams. No power pack required. Large 500 clip cartridge design - is easy to refill. Clips are colourless to aid in biodegradability.
